PROBLEM
Gas recovery often becomes a compression problem too early. When recovered gas is moved directly toward low-pressure storage, useful pressure can be lost before the gas reaches the compressor.
The earlier helium system is not presented as a hydrogen validation of Cascade-X. It provides field experience in staged recovery, pressure routing, storage, compression and automated operation.
CONTROL & OPERATION _ Industrial control interface from the helium-recovery installation.
GAS ROUTING _ Process piping and gas-routing network.

VALIDATION METRICS
RECOVERED GAS— How much gas is retained and reused?PRESSURE UTILISATION— How much useful pressure is preserved?COMPRESSION REQUIREMENT— How much gas actually requires recompression?ENERGY— What is the measured compression energy?TEMPERATURE— What thermal behaviour occurs?CYCLE TIME— What happens to operating time?REPEATABILITY— Can the result be reproduced?
